Home Screen

The Home Screen in SmartCollection is giving the logged in user access to an overview of the state of collection relevant to the user who logged in. In Smart Collection there are 3 User Groups

  • Administrator
  • Area Manager
  • Driver

In this video i will go through the Home Screen for each user group, what they have access to and the features available.

Frontpage is divided into 6 sections. Below its described what each of the user groups can see:

Statistics

Collection and Maintenance Status in real time.

  • Administrator can see all statistics from all area nation wide.
  • Area Manager can see statistics for areas where he is an area manager. No Access to National Statistics.
  • Driver can not see any statistics.
Route Templates

Route Templates are pre-planned routes not assigned to driver. It can be reused and altered/optimized before sending to driver.

  • Administrator can see all routes created by administrator, area managers and drivers. Can edit any Route Template.
  • Area Manager can see any Route Template made by Administrator or Area Manager for his/her area. Can edit all templates for his area.
  • Driver can not see any Route Template made by Administrator, Area Manager and himself. Can clone any route but Only Edit routes made by himself.
Next Routes

Routes already planned and send to the driver.

  • Administrator can see all routes made by Administrator, any Area Manager and any Driver.
  • Area Manager can see routes made for his area by Administrator, any Area Manager in his area or any Driver in his area.
  • Driver can only see routes assigned to the driver.
Finished Routes

Routes the driver has marked Finished and ready to be checked & closed.

  • Administrator can see all routes made by Administrator, any Area Manager and any Driver.
  • Area Manager can see finished routes made for his area by Administrator, any Area Manager in his area or any Driver in his area.
  • Driver can see and close his own finished routes if he has got Offline Permissions
Container for Maintenance

List of Containers marked for Basic or Emergency Maintenance.

  • Administrator Can see containers for the whole company.
  • Area Manager can not see this, but have access to containers for maintenance under the Manage Maintenance.
  • Driver can not see this.
Sensored Containers with 80%+ Fullness

Alert of containers with fullness sensors that is more then 80% full

  • Administrator can see containers for the whole company.
  • Area Manager can not see this, but can see it in the Statistics Box at the top of the frontpage.
  • Driver can not see this.



Administrator has access to a Setting Panel if he clicks on the Dropdown Arrow next to his Username (top corner), then _Settings.
Under Driver Options You can Allow/Disallow Driver to Skip Waypoints and Allow/Disallow Driver to Create his own Route Plans. The latter will affect if Drivers can see their Finished Routes on the frontpage and Close them.
